ImpaXus operates at the nexus of people, planet, and prosperity
We bridge the divides between public, private, and informal actors to strengthen ecosystems, transcend knowledge silos, and design programs and policies that are inclusive, impactful, and sustainable.
Our team brings 30 years of global experience advancing equitable, market-driven solutions to local economic and environmental challenges. Gender and social inclusion are central to our approach as cornerstones of sustainable development, climate action, and innovation.
PRACTICE AREAS
FEATURED WORK

The Women-Waste-Climate Nexus
With funding from Engineering X, ImpaXus partnered with the MIT’s Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship to host a high-level panel and roundtable with UN High Level Climate Champion, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin. The resulting first-of-its-kind study explores the untapped potential of women entrepreneurs to accelerate the transition to a circular economy and mitgate climate change.

MIT Foundry Fellowship
An alumnus of the inaugural cohort of the MIT Foundry Fellowship, Delila helped facilitate adaptive leadership sessions and ecosystem tours in Senegal, and recently completed a Training of Trainers program on adaptive leadership co-hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School and MIT.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

From MIT's Ideas Made to Matter
Women entrepreneurs are more likely to innovate to solve for local problems, design solutions that are inclusive, and employ more women as they do it.

From Waste Management World
Until recently, gender has been conspicuously absent in solid waste management research. That blind spot undermines our efforts to end open waste burning and protect public health and the environment.
